Our Glen Arbor weekend was green and magical and heart filling. The sun was out, Casey married Kevin on the top of the mountain, and there was s’mores.
The whole weekend was full of family and words. Casey introduced her bridal party one-by-one with notes on notecards and everyone was invited to toast them at the dinner. We woke up early Saturday morning to run three trail-miles and it was wonderful. Lydia and I kept running and found ourselves by Lake Michigan and then lost on M-22, creating time and space for conversation and sun. We got ready slowly, Casey in her floral robe and curls, listening to Needtobreathe and getting excited. The bridesmaids wore mint, the rest of us wore pink. It was beautiful.
Grateful for all being in the same place, for being included to celebrate with Casey, for seeing more of my family, and for such beautiful weather.
Scripture that I read and pray over them: Romans 15:1-7
