18 hours with cousin

Casey’s plans got changed so we created a little plan called Casey-flies-to-Chicago-a-day-earlier-to-have-one-on-one-cousin-time. God knows exactly what we need, always, and His ways/plans/thoughts are higher and wiser and better than mine. Why so I always forget that? I was reminded this weekend.

So, 18 hours with Casey: We caught up at Allison’s apartment then uber-ed back to my place and talked until 1 am. We ran by the water and ate paninis and chocolates from Eataly and sat feet-to-feet before I had to catch a train to MI to see Emmer (twin!).

So thankful continuously for my dear cousin, for her intentionality, her wisdom, her guidance, her whole heart.

Love you Casey. Thanks for plopping into the city!
