This semester was so hard, because of the material, the whole school-during-the-summer-thing, and because I left 5 out of 6 weekends to go to wedding things. Going into this exam week, I think I felt the least prepared and most worried. Classes got piled on, and things got overwhelming and stressful. Then we got our white coats and went on a boat cruise. And then I studied non-stop for 8 days. And now I am going into the clinic and I don’t have class until September.
The white coat ceremony was very special. I sat front row with Jen, because we both got there late. We heard from our professors, a patient, and a fellow second-year student. We swore the PT oath and got our NU patches. It raised our energy levels and our drained spirits. So naturally, we celebrated on a boat. I was in my happy place; city skyline, cupcake wine, nautical everything, being inseparable with Jen, forgetting about exams for one night.
And now for gratitude and praises to God. Grateful that Jen sits in front of me, Coley to my right, and Kali to my left. Grateful for my cozy little room. Grateful for my mom, always talking to me on my walks here and there, always telling me I can do it. Grateful for my friends and the prayers I feel back and forth through texts and emails and blogs. Grateful for my Gideon bible study and the truth that our weaknesses point us to God. So grateful. (and grateful year one of pt classes are over!)
Glory to Him.
